Getting Offended
Submitted by Bill on Wed, 02/22/2006 - 11:38amGet this! I was in the break room all alone listening to my pod-cast during lunchtime. Then one co-worker came in. I asked if I should turn it off. The co-worker said, “No it is like a radio”. “ I don't mind”. Then another. I asked the same question. No one minded.
Beetle In Peril - Looking Back
Submitted by Bill on Sun, 02/19/2006 - 9:22am
I am sitting at Break Espresso, the sun is out, and we are above zero. What a nice day today is going to be. I am just getting done uploading some more photos. This batch is from three different situations. Woods Gulch Hike, University Mountain Hike, and the ever-famous Beetle In Peril.
The first set is from a hike Marcy and I did up Woods Gulch. This hike took place because the other roads to other trailheads were inaccessible because of ice. I got halfway to Blue Point enjoying great snow before turning around.
The second set is from a night hike up University Mountain. The hike is awesome because at the top is a beacon and it gives off an eerie signal when the weather is just right.
The last two photos are from when I almost took the beetle down a drop off at the South Fork of Lolo Creek. This was done as I tried to go hiking up to Lolo Peak.
I hope the world has a nice day. I need to get out so I can be back in time for the biggest race in the Olympics. The team relay in the Nordic genera!
Trip Across Montana Picture Posted
Submitted by Bill on Sat, 02/18/2006 - 9:32amHow cold is it, real freaking cold. Until it warms up I am indoors getting caught up on some pictures. I just uploaded new photos of my trip across Montana around the first of the year.
I did the trip in one day from Lambert to Missoula. I felt real tired and kept almost dozing off so I came up with an idea. I would take pictures along the way. I dont know what is more dangerous ... taking pictures while driving or falling asleep at the wheel.
I am headed home from Break Expresso now, going home for a movie and nap. This evening when the temps crawl above zero I am going bike riding .... yea, you heard me!
New Photos In Photo Oasis
Submitted by Bill on Sat, 02/18/2006 - 7:08amI just uploaded new photos to the Photo Oasis under Latest Photos. This batch was taken while I was at my Aunt Paula's in Lambert Montana for New Years. There were things that stood out in my mind what represented my stay there and what made the experience unique and beautiful.
The openness of Lambert gives you a sense of freedom but also the loneliness of solitude. While it my presently be a 1000 degrees below zero the sunsets and sunrises are spectacular. After living on the East Coast in Connecticut I sure do miss the sunsets and sunrises. Here in Missoula we have mountains around and one must climb on one to se the sun action.
I am getting caught up with my photos and the next batch should be of the trip back home. I am excited about the next batch because I believe I captured the trip across Montana pretty well. Take care and stay warm!
Oh Discordia

Yea, it's cold outside! But it is nothing that has not happened before. It is my theory that we are de-evolving. Every one is a whine ass now and when a cold snap comes along or a snowstorm that “dumps” lol a measly foot … it's a disaster. Chill out every one. Oh yea, we are chilling out. Oh disaster, stay indoors. Me … I am whining about my injuries I sustained in a bike crash on Tuesday.
Yea, another crash! I was riding the railroad tracks by the gun range in East Missoula when I hit a patch of ice and went down hard (and even harder the older I get). So now I am sore and the cold seems to agitate it. So that is my bitch, whoa, I should be careful … ahh to hell with that. I am riding my bike to work today … why? Because I can! To bad most Americans are to “powder puff” to understand.
Christmas in Lambert

I just got done posting new pictures in the Photo Oasis. The pictures are of my trip to Lambert to partake in my Aunt Paula's famous holiday swaray. What a swaray it was and in a memorable moment as I reached the end of my seafood capacity I snapped off some memorable moments. I have placed the pictures in the section Home > Bill's Newest Editions > Latest Photos.
The trip to Lambert was very long but it was well worth the trip and I fully expect to partake in such an even every year as long as I am here in Montana. Stay tuned for more pictures as I process the other pictures from Lambert and my trip home as well.
Signing off from Missoula Montana where it is quickly approaching 15 below zero. Good night!
