Mass Ride

I am up early to go to a fun ride in Massachusetts. It is part of a club that I joined last summer. I hope to make new friendships and find others like me. Dirt freaks. It is only 25 degrees out today so it will be cold. I hope to get caught up in my finances when I get back. I want to see if I can purchase airline tickets to Arizona tonight. Well it off to the ride.

Group Ride Last Sunday

This weekends ride was very cold, when I returned to the car after a nice three hour ride my toes were numb. They came back to me in the car, ouch. The ride was nice although too much socializing for me. There was some singletrack but mostly double track. After we all met at a soup cafe in Amherst Ma. I had the Chile and corn Bread. Yummmm!

Mountain Bike. 16 to 18 miles. This ride will cover a variety of terrain (dirt road, double track, single track & off-dirt) and include a stop at a monk"s cave. Meet in the parking lot at Wendell State Forest. Bring lunch and water. From the south take I-91 to Exit 24. Follow Rt. 116 to Rt. 47 in Sunderland, turn Left and follow Rt. 47 to Rt. 63. Go 4.1 miles on Rt. 63 and turn Right onto Highland St. Take a Right at the "T" and go UP for 1.8 miles to Wendell State Forest.

Another Screwing by Sikorsky

It"s not a big thing, actually it is a small one. But all the little things add up to one big screwing. It's vent time ladies and gentleman and here is the latest installment. I just received an e-mail from the powers that be that reminds us (like we are children in need of reminding) that Since the day after New Years falls on a Friday we are expected to report to work for 8 hours.

We are not to take a sick day or our benefits will be held back. If we do not want to come in for one unproductive day then we must take a vacation day.

Sikorsky knows full damn well that everyone will spend one of their vacation days so they regain that cost in trade for another day which will be more productive.

Me, I"m coming in, to screw off for 8 hours! So don"t say Happy Holidays to me just say Happy Holiday!

Post Run Thoughts

Today's run was fantastic. I did spend a lot of time cleaning up the trails because of a big wind storm last night. After the run Marcy and I stopped at McDonald's for some B_Fast. I don't know what I am going to do this weekend. I guess I should plan on that Yankee Peddler Mountain Bike Ride. I need to get out and ride with the group. Its been a while. I think for Thanksgiving I will be going to Plattsburgh visiting friends. Today is also payday, Yahoo. I get to eat! I am hoping to buy plane tickets to Arizona tonight.

Lost In Blah Land

Hello everyone. I just added a picture that was taken by Niko (Paul and Lucy's son). He did a pretty decent job, he is better than his dad. Just kidding. Any way check it out in the gallery.

Does any one have any words of inspiration? I am in a funk. I haven't worked out in two days and I am feeling lazy. On top of that I am not getting anything done in general. I have just been going home and doing nothing. I am barely getting sleep.

I know that I am not helpless. It is just my faulty thinking that I am having a problem with. What am I waiting for? Someone to save me by waiving a wand and everything I want done magically gets done. Its not going to happen.

Just crazy thoughts. Actually I hope to get out this weekend and do a back pack overnighter somewhere in VT or NH.

Happy Birthday Melinda

Today it is my daughters birthday. Happy Birthday Melinda. A while back I asked the place I send my child support to give me their address. They replied that I couldn't have it. I asked Ronda on my site in a PM I believe about getting it. I think she ignored it.
