Last night I lived with my mom and dad but that is not all that lived in Roundup Montana. Also living with us was my uncle bob and his wife Cindy. Bob drove this tank. Yes, a tank and he drove it to work every morning. I remember a couple mornings they were all lovey-dovey and saying good bye to each other.
The dream was one of those about normal everyday life and seemed to not have a plot at all. Every day my uncle went to work and I worked with him. Our job was to install matrices around town for people who bought them at a stare.
Last night I moved back to Plattsburgh and went to work for my old boss Dave Colin at Viking Ski and Cycle. Tim was to show me the ropes and I insisted that I still knew my way around a bike stand. He told me that Viking has gone high tech and there were things I needed to learn. I had learned my lesson. Dave had been right all along, and that is why I was back at Viking. My place was in the “Back”. Working on bikes in Plattsburgh New York. It was home and I had learned my lesson.
Working late one night my mind drifted back to a week before as I was trying to get a job in Billings Montana. I was on my bike as I had no car. My new VW Beetle was re-possessed a month before and I was practically homeless. I had an interview in the Heights and I was biking up Grande Avenue. I was passing the other homeless thinking I was better than them. I had bike training and after all I used to be a professional biker.
Last night I finally gave in to my friend Paul and entertained his idea to check out this popular overlook where people go to mountain bike. Paul has been recommending this because his friend said that this place is where the cool mountain bikers go. Since I don't do ”cool“ stuff that Paul recommends I always never went.

Well this day I thought I would surprise him and planned a trip in the same area. We climbed up this trail reminiscent of the trail up Jumbo Mountain here in Missoula. When we came over the edge he suddenly realized that this is the place he was talking about. He was excited but not as much as I would of thought he would be.

Suddenly I accidentally knocked a rock off the edge. I screamed ”Watch Out“ to the bikers below. The rest of the dream we spent trying to find our way down to see if I killed anybody.
