Aug 22nd, 2008 - Big Sky Trip (Friday August 22nd 2008): A trip to Big Sky to race in the Lone Peak Revenge MTB race and then camp out with rides the rest of the weekend. This is our story. NOTE: There were plenty frogs hurt in the making of this movie.

Aug 19th, 2008 - Good Shepards vs Cyclists (Tuesday August 19th 2008): Coming home from a recovery ride I was assaulted by moterist as I attempted to go around these vehicles owned by the Good Shepards Children Center. August 17th, 2008 - Sheep Mountain Ride (Sunday August 17th 2008): A ride that I did with Dave C. We rode for around 5 hours and climbed around 6,000 feet in a 25 mile loop. The day was perfect and no wildfire smoke!
August 10th, 2008 - Butte 100 (Sunday August 10th 2008): The butte 100. This year it was a new course which was awesome. I won but only out of sheer luck. I got cramps and had a broken deraileur.
Aug 2nd, 2008 - Mackay Idaho Trip (Saturday August 2nd 2008): I traveled to Mackay to attend the White Knob Challenge Mountain Bike Race. I will never regrete it and I will be returning. truley one of the greatest weekends of camping, racing, and epic riding. The photos speak for themselves!

July 24th, 2008 - Galena Grinder Trip (Thursday July 24th 2008): This is an album of photos from our trip to the Galena Grinder Mountain Bike Race. I had a abad race but the weekend as a whole was awesome.
July 12th, 2008 - Bozeman Mountain Biking (Saturday July 12th 2008): After the Bohart Bash I stayed in Bozeman to take in the local single track and riding with some Muleterro team mates. Great times!
July 4th, 2008 - Bitterroot Balyhoo (Friday July 4th 2008): The Bitterroot Ballyhoo was a weekend where I met my friends at Painted Rocks Lake to camp and mountain bike. These are our photos.
June 27th, 2008 - Galena Vally MTB Trip (Friday June 27th 2008): My friend Paul and I traveled to the beautiful Galena Vally to do some mountain biking for three days. The trip was extrodinary. I took mostly video so head on over to my you tube section. From wb site click on videos.

June 21st, 2008 - Pig Farm and Tally Lake (Saturday June 21st 2008): My bro Paul is visiting from NY. This was a great weekend and the weather was magnificent. On Saturday we attended the mountain bike race at the Pig Farm trails and then on Sunday we went up to Tally Lake for some mountain biking (highly reccomended).
June 18th, 2008 - Woody Mountain MTB Ride (Wednesday June 18th 2008): I rode up Marshall Canyon and over to Woody Mountain. I decended to the swinging bridge befroe making my way back home. A 37 mile journey under 3 hours. Not too bad. Another peice to my Vision Quest http://tinyurl.com/6lrpzb
June 13, 2008 - Pintler Weekend (Friday June 13th 2008): Some friend and I were to meet for a race at the Discovery Ski Area but mother nature got in the way so we went mountain biking in and around the pintlers at a lower elevation.

June 7th, 2008 - Jenna Brimmer Mountain Bike Race (Saturday June 7th 2008): The Jenna Brimmer Memorial race in Salmon Idaho. I camped with some friends and the next day raced. We all did well, had and great time, and enjoyed mountain bike racing in a beautiful setting.
June 6th, 2008 - Team Muleterro Kit First Outing (Friday June 6th 2008): Photos of my new kit from TEAM MULETERRO and the first outting. I barely caught breaks between rain storms.
June 2nd, 2008 - Epic Missoula Mountain Bike Ride (Monday June 2nd 2008): Today's epic mountain bike ride took me over some of Missoula's best trails after work. I did the Ravine Trail, Curry Cabin Trail, Sidewinder Trail, and Marshall Grade Trail. I came home via the Kim Williams trail to round out the after work ride at around 5 hours and 45.1 miles.
June 1st, 2008 - Grave Creek Growler (Sunday June 1st 2008): On the first day of June I set out for a 6 hour epic journey to do as many check points in my vision quest list (map ==> http://tinyurl.com/675ytk ). I made it all the way to the fourth. I went up Blue Mountain, over the Grave Creek Range, down Dry Gulch, and then over to the Point Six Road. the mileage was 66.6 miles and around 6,000 feet of climbing.

May 10th, 2008 - Belt Road Race and Injury (Saturday May 10th 2008): Started out as typical road race turned ankle injury. I have a cut tendon, concussion, and contusions. I will be out of cycling and the season will be slightly diffrent than expected.
May 3rd, 2008 - Coyote Classic Race Trip (Saturday May 3rd 2008): A trip to Boise Idaho to participate in the Coyote Classic Mountain Bike Race. I went with friends Ross and his daughter Emily.
2008 Spring Training (Tuesday April 29th 2008): Photos of my training activities in and around Missoula Montana.
Apr 27th, 2008 - Blue Mountain MTN Biking (Sunday April 27th 2008): Went for a three hour mountain bike ride at the Blue Mountain Recreation Area. All the trails in the mid to lower part were in excellent condition. I had a recovery day so I took the liberty to take some self photos and some video (comming soon).
April 26th, 2008 - Speedwagon Classic (Saturday April 26th 2008): This race was held by Matt Seeley up in Polson Montana and was a test race to gauge how well accepted a race would be in Polson. It was a huge success and it was so well done for a first time event that I felt guilty that I did not pay a entry fee or any other expense for this race. I would definately do it again.
April 18, 2008 - Grizzlyman Adventure Race (Friday April 18th 2008): The inagural Grizzlyman Adventure Race was held here in Missoula and I was luckey enough to win it. Movie comming soon!
April in Missoula (Tuesday April 15th 2008): Spring is a time of new sunshine and getting out on the bikes more. These photos are of the wonderful month of April in Missoula Montana. These photos are just random shots, mostly for my blog. April is also my birthday!
April 12th, 2008 - Devils Slide MTB Race Adventure (Saturday April 12th 2008): This is my 3rd trip to the Devils Slide Race. This year I car pooled with the Brown family and we had a great trip. The sights were great, I got 1st place, and the camping was fabulous as well. Video comming soon!
2008 Race Bike Project (Thursday April 3rd 2008): This is the building of my 2008 race bike. many parts are old and had to be refurbished but there are a couple new things in there as well.
March 30th, 2008 - Thompson Pass Ride (Sunday March 30th 2008): What started out as a nice day and a trip to a beautiful place became a brutal road ride for survival at the end. I rode from Plains to Thompson Falls Pass. A 91 miler that I dont regreat, just look at the beauty of the area! A calssic!
March in Missoula (Saturday March 29th 2008): May in Missoula is a great time for me. I am getting in longer road rides and the days get longer. These shots are from this time.
March 29th, 2008 - MJCF Race 2 (Saturday March 29th 2008): In the morning I started my mountain bike project then I got ready for the day's race. I got out to the race (already registered) and found no one. I did a lap and declaired myself the winner. I went home, took a nap, then worked on my mountain bike the rest of the evening.
March 23rd, 2008 - Bearmouth Road Ride (Sunday March 23rd 2008): My friend Josh and I went on a nice road ride sunday from Bearmouth to Drummond. Spectacular ride!
March 23, 2008 - Georgetown Lake Ride (Sunday March 23rd 2008): A road ride that I did in March to train for the up and comming mountain bike season. I rode from Drummond to Georetown lake and beyond before turning around and riding back to Drummond.
Paul's Bike Project (Friday March 21st 2008): My brother Paul has asked me to build him a bike and put me on a modest budget. This is my attempt at giving him the best rig possable.

November 19th, 2007 - State Championship Flowers (Monday December 3rd 2007): These are the flowers that I won (3rd place) at the state cyclocross championships. The remarkable thing is that they are still alive after 3 weeks!
Nov 24th, 2007 - Trapper Peak (Saturday November 24th 2007): This is a ski trip to Trapper Peak in the Southern Bitterroots. We did not encounter the sno we did at Lolo peak two days ago but the sking was good non the less. We went up about 3,500 feet in about thre hours and the came back to the trailhead. After the ski we did a simulated "Deer Camp" ... ie build a fire and drink beer.
Nov 22, 2007 - Carlton Ridge Ski (Thursday November 22nd 2007): The first tele-ski of the season on Thanksgiving. My friend Ronnie and I skied up from the Mormon Peak Trail-head. The lower gate stays open until the end of hunting season so this trip was a treat. We skied up Carlton Ridge and then topped out on the high point to the West (North East of Lolo Peak).
November 19th and 20th, 2007 - Winter Arrives (Tuesday November 20th 2007): Photos of the first winter storm of the season here in Missoula.
November 10th, 2007 - Reservation Divide Epic Ride (Saturday November 10th 2007): My friend Larry and I did this epic ride. It went up to and on the Reservation Divide Trail to Squaw Peak (Chapaq... or something like that). Blog @ http://www.williammartin.com/node/3231

October 7th, 2007 - M.O.R.S. Series Awards Dinner (Sunday October 7th 2007): The 2007 Montana Off Road Race Series Awards Banquet took place at Pablo's Pizza in Butte Montana after the Copper Mountain Cross Race. Emily Brown got 1stplace in beginner and her sister Lydia Brown also garnished 1st place in sport woman. I received 1st place as well and in close 2nd was John Curry. Untill next year!

September 16th, 2007 - Red Lodge Race (Sunday September 16th 2007): My family showed up at the Red Lodge Ski Area to see me take a win and sew up my MORS championship series win. I feel grateful to be able to win one for them.

July 27th, 2007 - The Galena Grinder (Friday July 27th 2007): The summer of 2007 I had more health problems and this is a race that I missed. The up-side is that I got to take some great pictures. This is the Galena Grinder, quite possably the best race of the summer and one that I am looking forward to thee most for 2008.
July 15th, 2007 - Thompson Park MTB Race (Sunday July 15th 2007): On July 14th i traveled to Butte and stayed the night to race in the Thompson park Mountain Bike Race. Most of these photos were taken by my friend Nancy Brown so credit her for the great shots.

December 29th, 2006 - Aunt Paula's Holiday Extraveganza (Friday December 29th 2006): My aunt Paula has a party during the holidays once a year and it is the most fun and best party around. It is the highlight of the season. She usually ships in Lobster and Crab from Alaska and there is enough "Adault" beverages to put down an elephant.
Dec 25th, 2007 - Christmas Hike Little Saint Joe (Monday December 25th 2006): A little hike to take Marcy for a walk. We climbed up the trail that leads to Little Saint Joe. We only got to the lookout and the snow was too deep.
Dec 2nd, 2006 - The Freezer Burn Run (Saturday December 2nd 2006): The 2006 Freezer Burn Run. I did the 5K and came in second. I stuck around to take pictures as the half marathon was out there running still.
Nov 24th, 2006 - Thanksgiving Trip to Columbia Falls (Thursday November 23rd 2006): I went to Columbia Falls for Thanksgiving in 2006. I took my camera.

October 29th, 2006 - Montana State Cyclocross Championships (Sunday October 29th 2006): My first cyclocross state championships were here in Montana and I watched (and took pictures) of the Mens A race. I raced in the Masters division and got 4th.
October 22nd, 2006 - Butte Cyclocross Race (Sunday October 22nd 2006): The Butte Cyclocross Race took place in Fridgid (and I mean fridged) Butte Montana. The course was fast and furious and i won which is a good thing.
October 15th, 2006 - Bozeman Cyclocross Race (Sunday October 15th 2006): These pictures are some of the elements of day two of racing in Bozeman Montana. As you can see I had some mechanicals, but hey, I won.
October 14th, 2006 - Big Sky Cyclocross (Saturday October 14th 2006): This was a double race weekend in and around Bozeman Montana. On Saturday was the Big Sky Cyclocross Race. It was a great day, great trips, and one that I will always remember. I spent the night high in the mountains and the evening before in a coffee shop in Big Sky. It was truely a great weekend.
October 7th, 2006 - Missoula Cross Race (Saturday October 7th 2006): Photos of a cyclocross race in Missoula Montana named Thunder and Lightening. This was by far the best cross race in Montana if not the best race period. The crowds were great and the racing was everything you would expect. Half these phtos were taken by my friend Ross Brown so I can not take credit for the great race pictures.
October 1st, 2006 - Western Montana Hillclimb Championships (Sunday October 1st 2006): My second hill climb and just like the first one that I did two years ago I took my camera to get some photos of the other racers.

August 5th, 2006 - Mission Mountains Adventure (Saturday August 5th 2006): This adventure I took with my friend Paul B. We went onto Island Lake in the Missions. We camped for a night and Paul climbed Panorama Peak. These pictures are our adventure.
