The ride is one that I have been perfecting because it is the most convenient and leads right from my front door. The ride goes up the Mount Sentinel Fire Road and ends up in Pattee Canyon in the Crazy Canyon area. the route utilizes some nifty single track before dumping out onto the Folf field. Then we went across the road to the Sammy B.

After some downhill single track we climbed back up Crazy canyon and back into town. This is a great little ride and can be done in as little as an hour and a half. Taking it easy as a recovery fun ride it can be up to 3 hours lo9ng. Such diversity in the terrain affords one to employ all mountain biking skill and tax the system on some pretty tasty climbs.

Night Ride Report : Pattee Cake

I just completed the Pattee Cake from the corner of Maurice and South in 1:27:32. I did the initial climb out of town in my middle ring (around 13 minutes) as I did on all the climbs.  Of course this time of year I had to use lights as it was dark about a half hour in.  I started about 5:30 PM.  The trails are in good condition with a skiff of snow. At the end of the Sam Braxton section excessive logging made it so I had to get off the bike and climb ver logs for about ten minutes.
