Erik, Julie, Sten, Christy, and I found this hot springs near Whitehall Montana. But to get there we traveled a bit far. I say that because I "thought" that the hot springs we were headed to was right in Whitehall. Exactly as my car ran out of gas. Then I could just get gas after. Right?
But unfortunately it was way past town. Every time I thought we were there we just kept going. At one point I thought I should just pull over and have someone give me a ride. But eventually we arrived at the hot springs with the needle on my gas gauge floating just below the red zone and resting on the peg.
Ah screw it! We are here. We poured in cold water to get the water to the right temperature and then jumped in.
We hauled down a micro brew keg from a Bozeman facility (River City is my guess) and proceeded to relax.
Did my car run out of gas? No, I did make it back to Whitehall. Funny thing is I had to use my valet key because I lost my keys. But then the next day Sten did some car maintenance to find my keys and fix my trunk in the process. It was a great Labor Day weekend.
