May 10th, 2008 - Belt Road Race and Injury (Saturday May 10th 2008): Started out as typical road race turned ankle injury. I have a cut tendon, concussion, and contusions. I will be out of cycling and the season will be slightly diffrent than expected.

Apr 27th, 2008 - Blue Mountain MTN Biking (
Sunday April 27th 2008): Went for a three hour mountain bike ride at the Blue Mountain Recreation Area. All the trails in the mid to lower part were in excellent condition. I had a recovery day so I took the liberty to take some self photos and some video (comming soon).
April 26th, 2008 - Speedwagon Classic (
Saturday April 26th 2008): This race was held by Matt Seeley up in Polson Montana and was a test race to gauge how well accepted a race would be in Polson. It was a huge success and it was so well done for a first time event that I felt guilty that I did not pay a entry fee or any other expense for this race. I would definately do it again.
April 18, 2008 - Grizzlyman Adventure Race (
Friday April 18th 2008): The inagural Grizzlyman Adventure Race was held here in Missoula and I was luckey enough to win it. Movie comming soon!

April 12th, 2008 - Devils Slide MTB Race Adventure (
Saturday April 12th 2008): This is my 3rd trip to the Devils Slide Race. This year I car pooled with the Brown family and we had a great trip. The sights were great, I got 1st place, and the camping was fabulous as well. Video comming soon!

2008 Race Bike Project (
Thursday April 3rd 2008): This is the building of my 2008 race bike. many parts are old and had to be refurbished but there are a couple new things in there as well.
March 30th, 2008 - Thompson Pass Ride (
Sunday March 30th 2008): What started out as a nice day and a trip to a beautiful place became a brutal road ride for survival at the end. I rode from Plains to Thompson Falls Pass. A 91 miler that I dont regreat, just look at the beauty of the area! A calssic!
March 29th, 2008 - MJCF Race 2 (
Saturday March 29th 2008): In the morning I started my mountain bike project then I got ready for the day's race. I got out to the race (already registered) and found no one. I did a lap and declaired myself the winner. I went home, took a nap, then worked on my mountain bike the rest of the evening.
March in Missoula (
Saturday March 29th 2008): May in Missoula is a great time for me. I am getting in longer road rides and the days get longer. These shots are from this time.

November 19th, 2007 - State Championship Flowers (
Monday December 3rd 2007): These are the flowers that I won (3rd place) at the state cyclocross championships. The remarkable thing is that they are still alive after 3 weeks!
Nov 24th, 2007 - Trapper Peak (
Saturday November 24th 2007): This is a ski trip to Trapper Peak in the Southern Bitterroots. We did not encounter the sno we did at Lolo peak two days ago but the sking was good non the less. We went up about 3,500 feet in about thre hours and the came back to the trailhead. After the ski we did a simulated "Deer Camp" ... ie build a fire and drink beer.
Nov 22, 2007 - Carlton Ridge Ski (
Thursday November 22nd 2007): The first tele-ski of the season on Thanksgiving. My friend Ronnie and I skied up from the Mormon Peak Trail-head. The lower gate stays open until the end of hunting season so this trip was a treat. We skied up Carlton Ridge and then topped out on the high point to the West (North East of Lolo Peak).

October 7th, 2007 - M.O.R.S. Series Awards Dinner (
Sunday October 7th 2007): The 2007 Montana Off Road Race Series Awards Banquet took place at Pablo's Pizza in Butte Montana after the Copper Mountain Cross Race. Emily Brown got 1stplace in beginner and her sister Lydia Brown also garnished 1st place in sport woman. I received 1st place as well and in close 2nd was John Curry. Untill next year!

Friday December 29th 2006): My aunt Paula has a party during the holidays once a year and it is the most fun and best party around. It is the highlight of the season. She usually ships in Lobster and Crab from Alaska and there is enough "Adault" beverages to put down an elephant.

Monday December 25th 2006): A little hike to take Marcy for a walk. We climbed up the trail that leads to Little Saint Joe. We only got to the lookout and the snow was too deep.
Dec 2nd, 2006 - The Freezer Burn Run (
Saturday December 2nd 2006): The 2006 Freezer Burn Run. I did the 5K and came in second. I stuck around to take pictures as the half marathon was out there running still.

October 29th, 2006 - Montana State Cyclocross Championships (
Sunday October 29th 2006): My first cyclocross state championships were here in Montana and I watched (and took pictures) of the Mens A race. I raced in the Masters division and got 4th.
October 22nd, 2006 - Butte Cyclocross Race (
Sunday October 22nd 2006): The Butte Cyclocross Race took place in Fridgid (and I mean fridged) Butte Montana. The course was fast and furious and i won which is a good thing.
October 15th, 2006 - Bozeman Cyclocross Race (
Sunday October 15th 2006): These pictures are some of the elements of day two of racing in Bozeman Montana. As you can see I had some mechanicals, but hey, I won.
October 14th, 2006 - Big Sky Cyclocross (
Saturday October 14th 2006): This was a double race weekend in and around Bozeman Montana. On Saturday was the Big Sky Cyclocross Race. It was a great day, great trips, and one that I will always remember. I spent the night high in the mountains and the evening before in a coffee shop in Big Sky. It was truely a great weekend.
October 7th, 2006 - Missoula Cross Race (
Saturday October 7th 2006): Photos of a cyclocross race in Missoula Montana named Thunder and Lightening. This was by far the best cross race in Montana if not the best race period. The crowds were great and the racing was everything you would expect. Half these phtos were taken by my friend Ross Brown so I can not take credit for the great race pictures.

Sunday February 19th 2006): I hit Mount Fuji at Lolo Pass for a Tele Ski. I had a bluebird day.
Creeks Streams and Rivers (
